General Resume Tips

➧ First & foremost keep the language simple and stay away from complicated jargons.

➧ Start off your resume with the most important part which is a professional summary or a profile. Entry level candidates and career changers can use an employer centered objective. Give prospective employer a good reason to read your resume till end!

➧ Try to restrict your resume to less than three pages; employers do not have time to read lengthy resumes as they have many to read.

➧ Use a separate “achievements” section to highlight all that you have accomplished in your career.

➧ Use bullet points and put headings in bold letters.

➧ Format your resume in such a way that it is easy to read and scan through.

➧ Refrain from including irrelevant information.

➧ Give correct contact information including your contact number, email id, address on the top section of every page in the resume
